This perfectly encapsulates how I feel living in the US. The republican party is an insane death cult, the democratic party is 3 corporations in a trench coat, and the "socialists" are just the completely normal left-wing capitalists you'd find in any of 2 dozen European nations.

In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

Such a perfect example of what we all give up when we refuse to address basic inequalities. I don't want to live in a country where all the public space is militarized to keep hungry people from stealing food, just give them money to buy food!

Attentif aux changements de la lumière et aux moindres mouvements vaporeux, je posais mon trépied sur l’épaisse tourbe qui formait la rive. Je prenais quelques photos de la scène pour rapidement être absorbé par les détails de la flore qui étaient mis en évidence par les changements d’atmosphère. Je passais plus d’une heure à observer, composer et photographier minutieusement plusieurs aspects du paysage qui se révélait à moi. Le résultat est une série jetant un regard intimiste sur ce qui compose et borde ce lac au milieu de la forêt boréale."
