Still seems kinda funny that the only thing I’ve ever seen an LLM get worked up about is a coding antipattern.

Anyhoo, the LLM basically summarized that, and then added something along the lines of, “…and who the hell thought THAT was a good idea”, which seemed to be not in keeping with the general tone it had been using before.

The gist of the idea is that it’s very easy for contexts to become viral - that is, you make one required in your function, and s soon you find yourself propagating it all up and down the call stack.

A while back I asked an LLM a fairly technical question - what are some commonly heard criticisms about the use of ” context “ variables in Go? (Not LLM contexts, I mean the thing you use to handle inter thread communication)
