The washing machine has arrived and is now doing its stuff. It wasn't very exciting, but it meant getting up early on a Sunday morning. I have a fence that blew down some years ago. I've never bothered to replace it (it only separated the drive from the garden). Next plan is a new bath and shower.

This month (and this month only) I get my full time salary *and* my state pension. I was wondering what to spend it on. The answer, it turns out, is a new washing machine.
