You fucking this up puts OTHER PEOPLE at risk. You are, presumably, out there protesting because you care about other people who are more marginalized than you are, right? Right? So listen to them when they say that what you're doing is endangering them AND STOP DOING IT.

OPSEC has a lot of meanings, but primarily in this context, means minimizing the danger to you AND TO OTHER PROTESTERS. You are not the only person who is in danger at a protest. If (when) the police retaliate against the protest as a whole, they do not do so evenly.
