THIS feels incredibly toxic after the behaviour of Bsky leadership this last week.

How often do I see toxicity?
I see Palestinians get deleted for asking for help.
I see sex workers harassed.
I see Jewish people brigaded.
I see trans people put on irl watchlists.
I see white supremacists lauded.

I mean, the whole waffles thing your team pulled was pretty toxic

Part of management’s problem is its attitude of casting legitimate criticism and protest as toxicity, while attempting to censor fair commentary on real merchants of hate. Management’s double standard around Charlie Kirk is a perfect example.

The predominant toxicity on Bluesky is coming from its management: dismissing legitimate user concerns, quashing user-led decentralised moderation, and banning users for innocuous or fair use. But I get the feeling your question is intended to incite users to perceive the problem as other users

I’m not young either. I’m 38. 20 years of elections I’ve been told to vote for the “lesser evil” and vilified if I insist on demanding a candidate who’s, ya know, not evil.

Every election of my life I was told, “THIS election is too important to withhold a vote just to send a message,” and that if I didn’t vote Democratic the bad stuff that happened would be my fault. But apparently no election is important enough for the Dems to run an actual progressive candidate.
