So, what was that an ad for? I get AI, but to do what? And why invoke Elon like that means anything now except desperation and failure?

I feel like I'm getting different ads from other people.

Ah, so not a shut out either. Unless something extraordinary happens, the narrative is going to end up being a rather dull game not really worth remembering.

Someone at the ad agencies really hate AI and the AI companies are too dumb to notice. It's the only explanation for these ads for AI showing how much AI sucks.

Gah. I was hoping for a no TD game.

That AI ad was about it doing your work for you so you could take the day off. I guess they expect no one to ask the follow up question of "why would they need me here in the first place if this worked?"

Wasn't it soon after the Super Bowl with all the crypto ads that the market crashed? Getting a little deja vu with all these AI ads.

Just gave it it's final boss test. Different book, but the sticker below is the same. It took so.e effort and time, but the cover is clean.

I bought this because of a TikTok ad and Holy shit it works. The stickers are gone and the stickiness is cleaned off.

And while I do love the narrative that AIPAC shot themselves in the dick by attacking to leading candidate for not being deferential enough, I feel the fact there were 12 candidates contributed more to Analilia Mejia's rise given she offered a different vision than the other 3 front runners.

At the moment, they're saying it's too close to call. Which if they had finished the count and the percentages remained this close and they're going to do a slower recount to make sure it's right; that I get. As far as I can tell the original count isn't done. And no reporting on what's happening.

What's going on in the NJ-11 election count? NBC is reporting they have about 93% of the estimated returns in and that number has not meaningfully changed since last night. I get stopping because it's late and the "we'll pick it up in the morning" attitude. But it almost noon and nothing's moved.

I watched the video for a Magic: The Gathering op-ed and got a lesson in rhetorical arguments about financial policy. The whole thing turned into a metaphor for our time that I don't think he meant it to be, but there it is.

The Democratic establishment backed candidate is eating it though. Hasn't broken 5 digits and not likely to do so for a solid 4th place.

I don't know the NJ-11th that well. I live on edge of it and spend most of my work and free time elsewhere. But from what I've pieced together, we're a normie lean Democratic district. Not a hard blue.

I wonder if this would be more exciting to watch live report coverage with analysis and commentary than just colored bars on a website or just more annoying.

Oh and one other thing, AIPAC went hard against Malinowski the last few weeks and it apparently meant jack shit.

I look away for a second to type that last skeet and she passed him. Ahead by about 40 votes. For those that don't know, Mejia is the progressive candidate endorsed by Sanders and AOC. And Malinowski was my old rep back in the NJ-7th and I had no complaints.

I've been watching Analilia Mejia slowly close a 2,200 vote gap behind Tom Malinowski over the past hour.

Not me just mindlessly refreshing voter returns for the NJ special election.

I had a plan for this evening. It's now down the drain. There's no reason I should still be awake, yet here I am. Ever just not be able to fall asleep despite it being sleep time for hours on end for no discernible reason?

Voted. Never miss an election. How do I do it? Duty, discipline and awareness of the calendar.

It also helps I live across the street from the polling location.
