I've seen photos of him at AEW events so I'd be very surprised if he wasn't one of the people who influenced his style.

Some of those parties and politicians stand for venal, abhorrent things sadly but the success of Mamdani and the rise of the Greens in the UK suggest that people are done with the politics of sitting on the fence.

It feels like what we're starting to see on both sides of the pond is people rejecting the choice between two essentially identical candidates whose only ideological difference is what colour rosette they favour. People are gravitating to parties and politicians that openly stand for something.

I see it's time for me to make the point again that the poppy is a fundraising campaign for the Royal British Legion, a specific, mundane entity that is not exempt from scrutiny and does not own the concept of remembrance.
