Everyone yearns for acceptance at some level, but no one gets it all the time. I’ve learned to move on, the hard way! People can learn to accept in time, family can change.

It’s so good to feel the sun on my face this morning. The autumn sun is perfect, just warm enough to take the edge off the crisp, cool air. Mornings like this have poetry all of their own. It feels like we are living through a scene from Dr Strangelove. One so absurd that it got cut from the movie! Alarmism, hyperbole, simplification and reckless accusations… it feels a bit like it all belongs in a political dark comedy, only the consequences are way too serious and real.
