Well, let me explain it to you — because they’re trying to do it here in Canada, too, using the term “remigration.”

Yes, totally agree —especially for all junctions within at least 500 meters around a school.

3/3: Education is important, but enforcement and infrastructure changes are what really save lives.

2/3: -Narrowing intersection entries (curb extensions/bulb-outs) so vehicles must reduce speed.

-Better lighting at crossings, especially in school zones.

-Automated traffic calming (speed feedback signs, timed signals) to discourage speeding.

1/3: honestly, we need more than awareness messages. Concrete measures would make intersections safer:

-Cameras with license plate recognition to fine reckless drivers.

-Real speed bumps and raised crosswalks that actually force cars to slow down.

Take it easy man, I’d just like to see the federal government be more proactive with stronger actions on housing. I don’t see why you feel the need to defend them so much just because someone demands more from them on such a basic issue

People have every right to demand from all levels of government when it comes to basics like housing. Provinces and municipalities share responsibility, but that doesn’t change the fact it’s wrong for the feds to treat housing as secondary while LNG expansion is a nation-building priority

Great, sounds ambitious but so far it feels more like promise than a serious proposal. It’s not even on the list of ‘nation-building’ projs. Nothing on how an average fam can cover a down payment or transfer tax, and nothing on how rents will be kept in check for those who can’t or don’t want to buy
