Me too - my mother was panicked about my eyes/vision. So much of the misery is deeply imprinted on my memory. I think it’s something impossible to understand if one hasn’t experienced it.

We who have β€œsurvived” this virus (level3biohazard) knew that SARS2 was/is going to have a long tail - β€œliving” with all the residual damage it causes. Ed has been consistent in his exceptional articles & as a living example protecting oneself & others. Kudos for not giving up. This is the way.

While not a classic airborne disease, norovirus is another bug that can be transmitted through the air. Vomiting and diarrhoea can create aerosols which could be ingested directly or deposit on surfaces. Hand hygiene, surface hygiene and ventilation can all help mitigate.

Here's an excerpt from πŸ‘‡

"The utility of this overall approach is that the model describes airborne disease transmission in a way that better describes what is actually happening. For example, clearly short distance transmission is more likely and important to consider."

Given that there’s a pause on FDA comms right now, it may be useful for Americans to sign up for Canadian recalls, since many products are sold in both countries. Eg fellow celiacs, this may clue you into products to watch out for on the US side too: recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en/subscribe

Location, Location, Location: Aerosol Inhalation
YouTube video by Al Haddrell Location, Location, Location: Aerosol Inhalation

Aerosol can stay in the air for days. So, why then does it readily deposit in your lungs? Why isn’t it simply exhaled?

In my latest explainer video I discuss how/where aerosol deposits in the lungs, and how a misunderstanding of this process has led to confusion around masks.

1/I can’t describe how angry I am reading this article(Tweet 2)⬇️
β€œDon’t worry about the kids” they said (based on no scientific evidence)
β€œThere’s more chance of children being hit by a bus than catching Sars2”
Some even advocated mass infection in children for β€œherd immunity”
2/those of us worried about potential long term health risks in children, who advocated for the Precautionary Principle were ignored…
….And yet we now have more evidence of replication competent viral persistence in children…while we continue to allow our kids to be
3/re-exposed & reinfected with SARS2 repeatedly knowing this virus is damaging brains & blood vessels & dysregulating immune systems….& even now 5yrs in we are not doing a damn thing to protect our kids, our future…& LC rates continue to climb😑
