Me too - my mother was panicked about my eyes/vision. So much of the misery is deeply imprinted on my memory. I think it’s something impossible to understand if one hasn’t experienced it.

We who have “survived” this virus (level3biohazard) knew that SARS2 was/is going to have a long tail - “living” with all the residual damage it causes. Ed has been consistent in his exceptional articles & as a living example protecting oneself & others. Kudos for not giving up. This is the way.

While not a classic airborne disease, norovirus is another bug that can be transmitted through the air. Vomiting and diarrhoea can create aerosols which could be ingested directly or deposit on surfaces. Hand hygiene, surface hygiene and ventilation can all help mitigate.
