I’m not sure the rest of the country fully grasps the panic and anger building in DC, MD, and VA.

Yup so I bought it from a local independent bookstore no problem. Then I made amazon promise to still deliver the book AND give me a book-size credit of $20. Trying to make this failure as expensive as possible for Amazon. But I learned my lesson I’ll never preorder from them again.

Since the US election, many analysts and journalists are still framing what's coming as roughly like a traditional presidency: led by the president, filled with appointees that have real roles, aiming to produce workable policy that serves US interests. I don’t think any of this is looking correct.
