This is a great blog and all of it applies to ‘teacher learning’ if not more. Teachers are even more time poor than students. Feedback is often passed down by observer with no check for understanding or surfacing of mental models. Finally, how do we create conditions for teachers to act on feedback?

An interesting report out today by City & Guilds. A gentle reminder:

-Investment in 16-18 education is currently ~10% less in real-terms vs 2010.

-For adult education the figure is ~40%

-Employer investment in skills is at a 20-year low.
