So the texture is not right and the oven temp was a bit aggressive, but it looks like bread and is very tasty. Working on Loaf 2 tonight.

I’m trying sourdough for the first time bc a coworker had starter to share.

Oh wow yeah - would not have attempted an industrial with hair long enough to touch my ears. fwiw, I got my first conch (the middle one) 20 years ago and it healed with a teen level of carefulness. Stuff on the inside of the ear seems less prone to misadventure.

I got my first conch 20 years ago and my second and third now - can already tell they’ll be less of a pain to heal than the industrial, bc they’re on the inside and won’t get bumped by the mere thought of sleeping/moving.

So I met with a new mental health provider today and we were talking about a potential ASD assessment, and I said I’m reluctant to have that in my chart considering how The Administration is acting.

I’m praising Gull for his persistent and effective communication skills as the sun sets ever earlier and I continue giving the cats their Goo & Slime at the same government time.

I ran into my neighbor just now, she immediately apologized to ME and then we just spent a few minutes apologizing to each other. She was indeed backpacking and out of service, and was incredibly concerned for Gull. No damage or mess. Phew.

I said I would either do or cover any cleaning needed. I didn’t want to go inside.

I contacted my property manager, who said they couldn’t open it without permission, and couldn’t reach my neighbor. I tried all the windows, and may have lightly threatened to break one. But the important thing is they sent over our handyman and now all is well.

Today’s excitement that was entirely my fault: Gull believes that any open door is his to walk through, and so he darted into my neighbor’s apartment this morning without her knowledge, and she locked up and left. I didn’t realize he was in there for several hours.

I love when you’ve exhausted all normal solutions to a problem so you resort to posting about it to ask for help, and the first several comments are “have you tried *normal solution*?”
