Always support cycling infrastructure but this route feels... redundant given the parallel Martin Goodman Trail.

Would rather the city spend on missing links, such as bridging the gap between Richmond/Adelaide and eastern:

I liked the York United branding and colours but this honestly makes more sense. Now they need to move to an area that’s central, I.e lamport stadium

Inside Canada’s first supertall building, One Bloor West
YouTube video by CBC News Toronto Inside Canada’s first supertall building, One Bloor West

One Bloor West hits 300m, is officially a supertall. Pretty cool for nerds like me to finally see a tower dethrone First Canadian Place as the tallest in Canada.

Even more interesting is that two more towers will pass the 300m mark soon - One Yonge, and Concord Sky. Then, Gehry's Forma west.

This is going to be one of Toronto's best public spaces - The Bend. Terraced seating overlooking the Keating channel and the amazing Cherry St. bridge. Cafes, patios... that's the vibe this area needs!

$50M per station?! That’s the cost of a brand new community centre. How can it possibly be that expensive to install 2 sets of platform doors?

Install Protected Bike Lanes on Jones Avenue Now Jones Avenue between Queen Street East and Dundas Street East is a vital connection for families, seniors, elementary and high school students, and everyday riders traveling north–south through Toront...

There’s a petition at the link below. @paulafletcherto.bsky.social I hope you consider the safety of your constituents more important than 18 parking spots.

‘Error in judgement’: City staff recommend cancelling Jones Ave. bike lane upgrade The city miscalculated how much on-street parking would need to be removed for a protected cycle track to be installed on Jones Avenue

This city can be so infuriating sometimes

Seriously. This is a recipe for more micro units. The city needs to allow for larger buildings via height and rear yard setbacks.

A reserved lane for a bus every 10 mins is more justified than a reserved lane for parked cars, IMO.

Agree with the points about fixing the service

Instead of spending $100M on a permanent solution where people can cross at any time, the city is spending $135M to maintain/replace the ferries where we have to stand in line for an hour with hoards of people 🙄

"If a bus is carrying 30 people, I think that bus should have priority over a car or two cars that are carrying two people. Would I give priority to 30 people versus two people? Yes, I would," says Mayor Olivia Chow.

There’s nothing insane about adding density to an area where a subway is being built. NIMBY nonsense

506 feels like this all the time. 501,504 are quite reliable but there’s something about the 506 that isn’t working. Too long? Dunno.

Housing catalogue designs for the past and present Inspired by standardized housing designs from the 1940s and 1950s, architects have worked to modernize an idea that proved remarkably successful 60 years ago, albeit adapted to 21st-century realities.

My only question, well it be 35k investor shoeboxes with kitchen walls in your living rooms?

Or, 35k actual livable units? Like the ones you see in 1970s-90s apartment buildings.
