BREAKING: The Supreme Court ruled public schools must allow opt-outs from any lesson parents believe will interfere with their child's religious development, including LGBTQ-themed materials.
This will make it difficult for public schools to teach lessons that may trigger religious objections.
BREAKING: We're filing a new class-action lawsuit to challenge President Trump's lawsuit restricting birthright citizenship.
The 14th Amendment is clear: Every child born on U.S. soil is a citizen, whether the president likes it or not.
The Supreme Court just issued a ruling that limits the ability of courts to block unconstitutional actions by the Trump administration, like his executive order that aims to get rid of the 14th Amendment.
We're filing a class-action lawsuit to protect birthright citizenship.

We are deeply concerned by today's ruling allowing federal control of CA National Guard without state consent. This dangerous precedent undermines state sovereignty and constitutional rights. We urge Congress and the public to reject the normalization of military intervention in civilian affairs.
20.06.2025 04:30 β π 627 π 160 π¬ 18 π 5We will continue to support and help strengthen the California laws and policies that affirm trans young peopleβs right to be authentically themselves.
18.06.2025 23:36 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The attacks on essential health care for trans young people are part of an attempt to erase scapegoated communities from public life. Families, doctors, and patients deserve trust, respect, and privacy as they make medical decisions without political interference.
18.06.2025 23:36 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Though todayβs SCOTUS decision is devastating for trans people across the country, California law still protects the rights of trans youth to access the care they need. Trans young people thrive when we all build a gender-affirming future they can see themselves in.

The Trump Administration's forcible removal of Senator Padilla today is un-American and unacceptable. Our elected officials have a right β and a duty β to conduct oversight of President Trump's abuses of power.
As much as the administration wants to silence dissent, we the people won't back down.
Senator Padilla wasn't the first elected official to face intimidation from the Trump administration for doing his job, but he must be the last.
Tell DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and FBI Director Kash Patel to put an end to these abuses of power immediately.
