I was reading a Reel by someone who considers themselves an advocate and experimenter of new tech, including AI music. They seemed quite shaken and nervous about Sora. When people who otherwise are excited evangelists get nervous, I take extra caution and notice.

The ability to trust and rely on government information will be one of the consequences of this presidency. Even if a new administration tries to fix things, that trust will be broken indefinitely. 50/50 odds the next administration(s) tries to play the same game now that it's readily available.

We are so far off the rails with Executive Orders. What authority does the President have to determine policy for athletic compensation in college sports? Nothing to do with his branch of government. We don't have a king. You can't just make a proclamation and say, "Make it so!"
