One simply cannot escape the conclusion that there isn't a single example of trans people existing in public as themselves that Sex Matters or For Women Scotland won't oppose.

Every single person involved in this hate campaign and everyone who has supported them - Anas Sarwar, for example - needs to be run out of public life the way they've run Dr Upton out the NHS. Being trans isn't a risk factor for people around you; this obsessive hate absolutely is.

The BBC are raising the licence fee after a year in which 300,000 households stopped paying it. No better time to cancel your licence fee if you haven't already done so.

Boycott the right-wing propaganda outlet and consider donating the money you save to trans charities and trans people in need.

It was about defining sex assigned at birth as the most important factor in life with woman being built to give birth and stay at home. Feminists have challenged this for decades and trans people challenge this very assumption that you are what your assigned

That would involve the media have even a modicum of integrity

I think the most consistent pattern in legal cases in the past year is a complete refusal by judges to take trans people's human rights seriously. The consequences of being named publicly as a trans person in a high profile case were dismissed for both Dr Upton and Rose Henderson.

I remember my mum saying 'but you never played with dolls' like even I don't think playing with dolls makes anyone trans but hey mum you didn't fucking buy me any 🤣
