I just finished! I found the retelling extremely interesting because it contradicted all of what I thought I knew about Athena’s origin story. I’m curious about how the story will progress as sadly it is not a standalone. There are a few things I also am intrigued to see how the author reconciles

I don’t know how you felt about Code Name Helene, it’s one of my absolute favorite books, but Lawhon is coming out with a new book this year, The Pirate Queen, which I’m really excited for. Might be one to add if you like her writing

I just found out C.W. Gortner passed away last year. He was one of my favorite authors and I’m sad the world won’t see more of his work.
