It’s so wrong that tweets about layoffs in the last two years have become evergreen, but here we are.

To my friends and peers who lost work, I am so sorry. Once again, here is the layoff lecture from my friend Worth.

In this one way, the "messaging" today is helpful because it doesn't waste time pretending to be a "hard choice" driven by "economic necessity". It's a tool that is working to increase "shareholder value" and they will keep using it, year after year after year as a result.

Hytale's Executive Producer and Game Director, John Hendricks, answers: "This is something that the team obsesses over, and it is one of the more complex areas of our development. It is critical that players can maintain worlds for years, while also experiencing new content. We are also excited that creators have told us they want to tell stories that span years, so we have worked to solve it in a way that supports their vision as well."

Eternal Strands really snuck up on me this month. It's a game that deserves the world for what it achieves. A genuinely wonderful experience from start to finish, and a meaningful meditation on community and the queer experience. My review:
