In the last few weeks, the desire to numb myself with alcohol has become more persistent as I watch democracy fail around me.

Probably time to get myself back to meetings.

About to head out to attend a #LGTBQIA+ advocacy workshop.

I am nervous about stepping outside my comfort zone but the current state of our country demands action now.

I will not sit idly as more rights are stripped away.

Trump thinks everyone should worship him and thought, wrongly, that he could bully Zelenskyy into kissing his feet.

I accept that I cannot control how Trump (and Putin pulling his strings) treats Zelenskyy and Ukraine but I feel sick to my stomach watching and listening to today's "talks".

Every day my urge for New England to separate into its' own country grows.
