Why is everything in tech so hard? I'm trying to make a tiny static website in github pages with jekyll, want to locally preview it. Every time I touch ruby I regret it.

Most air purifiers are not that good at clearing smoke from indoors. You want higher volume and faster flowing filters (i.e. not HEPA). I've had good luck with www.cleanairkits.com

In my area the library is free to reserve a room for community use, and they even have projectors and stuff you can borrow for free. Hardest part is getting people to show up in my experience.

There are lots of "second tier" places that have really good people. Don't fall into the trap of thinking grades actually matter. I mean they matter, as a signal, for lazy institutions. That's about it.
