I figure my first post should be worth posting, so, here's my new #ttrpg project "In Leviathan's Wake."

You play as Lost Souls sailing across hell in order to reach heaven. It's very much a WIP, but I've done a bit of playtesting and it looks promising.

sounds fun, love a good slasher movie. also love the layout vibes!

just a way to give credit in a formal/structured way that's easy for others to find would be cool.

that's a good idea and also reminds -me- of an idea i had for a site like this a ways back. a way to see a game's inspirations or etc would be nice. a supplement could link to its source, a BitD game could link to BitD, etc. could be pretty free form, doesn't need to be a dependency graph.

oh yeah, also, a way to network with other creators would be nice. that's the only reason i have bsky and, while this site is pretty alright, it'd be cooler to not have it. things like game jams and other ways to collaborate would be neat.

this sounds good if i can just pay for it and not have ads or all my data sold.

updated my site to include links to some of my hobbies. apparently all my music is gone because i forgot to pay @distrokid.com and i'm too good at ignoring emails. :')

i think there are a lot of movies that ask interesting questions or are interesting character studies. it can be nice to have those things in a more immersive way. my kinda dream is to make a game as meaningful or effecting as one of those movies.

i don’t think i could. i’m only capable of ripping off movies.

i’ve been considering this route, mostly because i don’t know how to use publishing software but do know how to make websites. but also, i mostly play through discord. still seems good to have a nice-to-print PDF, but maybe an interactive rule book/character sheet website on the side.

i have a ttrpg idea where the core mechanic is you stare into a mirror until you disassociate.

no but a wipeout RPG sounds sick. will be watching these replies.

this is how i’ve done it in music and now ttrpgs. it’s more fun to be free to make whatever you want, not worrying about success metrics. just making weird little things for your own enjoyment.
