Like it or not, that is clearly a foul.

To me, it seems like the real issue these days is that players are struggling to find ways to defend without fouling.

But I don’t believe that drawing legitimate fouls is cheap, dirty, or unethical.

You could likely make a reel like this for every player in the league if you felt so inclined.

I really was, seriously.

But if all you can give me is the “flopper” thing, then I guess what I’ve learned is that people feel comfortable mocking a person’s injuries is because they choose to believe a negative storyline about him, whether or not it’s true.

Which is a real shame for all involved.

With this essay you’re only proving my point though: If you’re only looking at the numbers, it’s easy to construct this narrative, but the game film does not back your claim.
