Originally my plan was to roll to 4FT and BB, then get in Sarr and a Palace def for GW10. But this perennial Strand Larsen injury thing made me reconsider, get the Palace players in this week (can bench next week), and get (urgh) DCL for JSL.

So 3 FTs used:
Tarko -> Lacroix
Stach -> Sarr
JSL -> DCL

Yeah, my expectations are very low. If it hadn't been for JSL never being properly fit, I wouldn't have gone near him.

I can't quite believe that hub is still going after that data breach, which seemed to be entirely their fault. Almost everything that comes from there seems to be rubbish too. Ben Crellin the exception. No idea why he associates himself with them as he's much better than that.

Strand Larsen is a nightmare, never seems to be properly fit. Might have to dump him, despite the fixtures.

Yeah, he's the epitome of the cautious manager, but that's always been his style. A decent contrast with the maverick that is Lateriser.

I dunno - I disagree on Zoph, I think he does have his own approach, which he's stuck to over the years. I used to chat to him on twitter years ago, and he's a good guy who thinks things through. Bakar I agree on though.

My rule is play it the first week where 15 starters looks plausible.

Yeah, my tactic after w/c (since the 5FT rule) is to try to save as many frees afterwards as possible.

I just personally think it's worth it - can get Saka if you want, maybe some Palace, refresh some of the less than perfect options. But WC13 may well be good too. It's just we'll have transfers to use up by GW15, so there's that to consider too.

I think I'd wildcard just to refresh the triple Villa!

Seems as if the big differences between WC6 and WC8 are Palace and Newcastle players. I'm not really that bothered about the latter, but I do have Palace envy. Can probably wait until after the Arsenal game though.

All my players played - do I regret not bench boosting? Was just 8 points, but would have got the damned thing out of the way...

BB abandoned thanks to JSL concerns, added to those slight Gabriel doubts. If it had just been Gabriel, I'd have risked it, as think he plays.

Saving the transfer to give me 3 next week.

Yeah my plan is to BB as soon as possible. If all my players are fit and available, I'm going for it. Hopefully this week.

If I had picked him (and I didn't actually consider him for a second), he'd likely have been on my bench this week anyway!
