I think this thread is important. There are many tough and fair questions that can and should be asked of and answered by our leaders. Hopefully, the answers displace anything misconstrued.

Transparency and accountability is needed everywhere, even here, even with our friends.

So I saw the reports for service earlier as well. I see none now. (Our 311 calls for service never appeared) Is the functionality of the map now limited to displaying road conditions and fire hydrant locations? Not complaining, just curious.

I hope there's room for a healthy discussion about this. One could argue for expanded city staffing that understands the area and the nuances of service roads, crosswalks, etc. On another, should we rely on outsourcing for rare events like this? City workers deserve a big voice in this.
