Hi everyone #GardensHour , i had a few minutes today of feeling spring in the air, and now i am starting to plan! 🌱

Been thinking about this for the past day; Californian Poppies, orange. Such a stunning spread of glowing flowers, I must have them in my garden this year!

#Gardenshour Although we have had freezing temperatures, lots of signs of life in my garden and lots of these shoots cropping up all over the place 😀

Thanks Chris, not a bad selection! I still remember the first time I caught Andromeda on my phone last year, couldn’t stop looking at it. Now with my Seestar, it completely fills me with awe and i keep wondering what could be out there within it!

That’s an impressive amount of bulbs!

Here’s mine, it was small when I planted it and now look! Absolutely love it, bees adore it.

#GardensHour I’ve been getting the garden ready for the winter, some good mulch for the beds and hoping my salvia Animo will survive!

#GardensHour It’s bare root rose season in the UK and these have just gone in - one climber and two shrubs. Can’t wait to see them grow!

The clouds finally broke this evening in southern England and I managed to catch Comet Lemmon on my iPhone and then Seestar 😀🔭

The seeds are small and straw like in colour, it’s my first attempt so we’ll see! All the best.

A few weeks after the flower fades, the heads go really dark and dry looking, then I just split the pod work my thumbs in and the seeds just fall out, you get a couple of hundred per pod. Just planted some in the cold frame and they have started coming through. There is a good video on you tube.
