I’m so struck by this video. A regular day in Logan Square in front of a grocery store and ICE pulls up and tear gassed people. Funston Elementary School is right across the street as well. This is a major corridor in Logan Sq. No concern for human safety

•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus
•Section 10 forbids ex post facto laws

it appears that two of our Uptown neighbors who lived outside of the Sheridan Dollar Tree died last night. i am mourning for them and enraged at our socio-economic system that puts greed, selfishness, and profit above basic human dignity and wellbeing and all else. it’s hard not to feel powerless

Every time I have to cross under that highway and dodge cars in the combination on/off ramp street intersections on my way to the Montrose bird sanctuary I’m left in a fit of rage.
