To track progress towards ending extreme poverty by 2030, the United Nations relies on the World Bank to estimate the share of people living below a certain threshold, called the International Poverty Line (IPL).

I'm thinking about continuing my studies in Demography in graduate school. So I would like to ask for recommendations of researchers, institutes and journals in the area that I could follow, please! 😁

I remember the findings of this study in the Psychology of Poverty classes in the course “The Challenge of World Poverty” taught by the professor himself.

It was after these classes that I became very interested in the subject.

This reminded me of the study done in India by Dillon et al, 2016 on preschool mathematics.

In which the researchers used math games to test children’s math learning (showing results on learning) and how this is dispersed in later years due to the “traditional” curriculum.
