Dire first half. It's like we had no clue what to do when a team plays over our press rather than tries to play out. Second half was better, but we gave ourselves too much to do. Not helped by a ref who didn't punish timewasting, dissent or the ball going out of play but we had to play better #bcafc

I've heard it, but mostly from developer friends and colleagues saying that they're going to have long careers fixing messes caused by vibe coding.

Agreed - they had a ten minute spell where they cut through us at will before we made changes and got back on top. Could and should have been further ahead by that point though - missed chances and good keeping and defending by then.

We've been superb. Great attacking football and two goals. Metcalfe has been hugely impressive since he came on and Power is generally excellent. Defensively we've limited Barnsley to a couple of corners and arguably the best goal I've ever seen live. Not much we can really do about that #bcafc

That was a very hard fought win - Wimbledon are a difficult side for us to face because they're hard to break down and very effective at just going over our press and countering quickly. But we showed great heart and took our opportunities when they came. Superb. #bcafc

That was outstanding. Can't remember such a difference between the first half and second half of a game. Good subs and tactical changes from Alexander and incredible heart, fight, and ability from the team. And, of course, Super Sam Walker in goal! #bcafc

On the plus side, we're only a goal down - but we've been absolutely outclassed. Stockport have been very, very good, moving the ball quickly and pressing well, but we've been poor. Just a bit too slow to close down early on, then resorting to aimless hoof. #bcafc

There are games - Northampton was one of them - where the high press is less important because they don't try to play out. A striker like Cook might well have won us that one.

This is where we're going to have to rotate and use the bench as the season goes on. Kavanagh coming back could really help with that as you can stick him anywhere in the front three and watch him lead the press.

You'd be going back to Johnson/Evans/Adams (injuries) and Sanderson/Diabate (not very good) but that's still an impressive hit rate. There's a general theory that 50% of all transfers fail so if we're well above that we're doing well.
