hell yes a new knitter! knitpro needles are pretty nice, i’ve used them for a few years and just recently upgraded to a set of their interchangeable cable needles

also! there are different varieties of persimmon/kaki/sharon which apparently taste and feel quite different, depending on whether you need to wait for the fruit to turn into jelly before it’s edible or not

kaki is originally their japanese name and has nothing to do with the color khaki. also everything about persimons is perfect, how dare you insult my son the best fruit etc 🥲

the yarn is Drops Lima, which is 65% wool and 35% alpaca. it’s really soft! the pattern suggestion is icelandic wool but i find it too scratchy

it is! even just the way it looks. i loved simply running around with horse friend, enjoying the scenery
