I’m reminded this week of how we can never really know the difference it makes to be kind to someone or to quietly help someone out. I had a moving message out of the blue from an old friend saying essentially thanks for caring. That’s kinda simple isnt it. And it's what matters.

In a million years I will never understand how maga was ok with this. I work at a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities and many of the families are maga. Is this how they deep down feel about their loved ones with disabilities? I was so naive that I really thought this would end him.
