There have always been long movies, but I feel like the pointed complaining about movie length these days prevails because
1) a lot of franchise movies do suck
2) now tv episodes are way too long, because streaming has no limits. Everybody is absorbing a bigger meal with nearly everything they watch

A movie can be as long as it needs to be. If a television show is over an hour an episode it better be fuckin’ Columbo

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.
