You could. No one’s gonna be paying you for fixing their rusted exhaust (although you probably will get good enough for that quickly) but you can be going to the dump and making monsters out or scrap metal within a week. You’ll probably need an angle grinder and a sawsall soon enough after.

Idk, I bought a Harbor Freight welder (idk if they have them in Canada) and was able to dick around and weld things together ok within a day or two. I wouldn’t trust my life to the welds but I felt like they would be certainly enough for art. Total including gloves and a mask was like $300
