There is a super interesting opportunity though my grad school for both mentoring and training in public scholarship.

I really like this study of the reasons college students move from one STEM major to another, particularly its focus on both the attractive aspects of the new major AND their disenchantments with their old major. Both parts are important. #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky #EduSky

I used MQP in my dissertation. For a class I took (20 years ago), we used his Utilization-Focused Evaluation text (5th ed here: us.sagepub.com/en-us/nam/ut...), and I still refer to that today. I also have Denzin & Lincoln's qual handbook on my shelf (us.sagepub.com/en-us/nam/th...)

Pro tip, folks: if you make a figure for a publication, don’t just hand the copyright over to the publisher. Post it on OSF first and then give yourself permission to use it in the first publication and then all future publications. That way, no permissions issues.

I believe this is akin to "beats getting poked in the eye with a sharp stick." Glad you weren't whisked away. Hopefully answers and solutions are identified soon.

Also, the notion of not just knowing this already, but getting to the knowing part FAR before my colleagues, and then having to reign in my face so it doesn't register the (real or imagined) annoyance I have that they haven't gotten it yet.
