BUT, I should say, you're of course welcome to start referencing and using the updated versions in terms of internal planning and development. The intention always with Accreditation is to be a reference standard that helps services to look ahead.

There's some really interesting stuff in that menti, I'm glad someone asked for it to be circulated.

Nothing changes till end of March 2026, after which all full applications will be against the new standard. If you're currently accredited and due a regular review, that'll still be against the standard you were accredited under, but when it's time to reapply in full, it'll be under the new version.

I'm glad! We have tried to trail it all so it shouldn't be full of traps, but it's always good to know it landed ok.
