I loved that as well. I grew up not allowed to have tv and then once we did get one the content was very controlled. My goal this year is to watch all the classic 80/90’s cult classics at 44 there are so many I have not seen.

As if I was not sad enough, knowing we could have this wholesome content as our VP instead of what we have 💔

Sitting here reminiscing about October last year, of how peaceful & happy I was back in the land I got to call home for 10 years as a kid. Especially sitting near a bridge my Great Grandfather would have passed over before moving across the pond.
I also had hope back then too…hard to feel that today

And this is why I do not watch CNN anymore

I cried as I walked through the holocaust museum in DC and I continued to cry and be heavy with grief for the week after. I don’t know if I could hold the grief I would feel visiting any of the actual sites. For him not to be moved says volumes.

I wrote her a thank you card this morning. It just so happened I had quite a beautiful one that had been sitting not used perfect for this occasion. A bunch of women I know are also sending her cards/letters. She is my hero and I don’t even go to church anymore.

She is a new hero to me
