I came to Living Colour later in my life. When they were at their height I was a plow horse cutting a path for my young and expanding family. I had my head down and was pulling hard and I nearly missed them. Now they’re in my top five. I feel lucky.

I get it, but have to say how unfortunate it is that these exquisite neanderthal models keep getting disparaged because of her. The sculptors who created them are among the best scientific modelers in the world. Every time I see her name under them my heart breaks a little.

A good set of fur brushes are worth so much. Vdm brushes are the best, and easier to modify and modulate. Nice work btw!

Ignorance is bliss. As one gains technical skills they also gather the biases of the skilled you learn from. The real trick is to recognize that bias and strip it back and understand what ignorance afforded, namely freedom of failure. Playful enthusiasm is freedom

I have both resin and fdm printers. I bought a bambu for a specific job because of time constraints. It has amazed me. Bambu made fdm printing practical for me. For larger format work it’s indispensable.

Or in my case, have an agent that became a casting director who taft hartly’d you as long as you cashed your paycheck and gave the production company the money back to cover the fine they got for casting you. Reanimator baby!
