The bus drivers and staff who got that network running again and got London home that night.

And TfL/the Mayor disobeyed the Security Services to make it happen /1

Reform UK in Kent have now crossed the line from a party of protest to a party of governing. With that comes serious responsibility. They’ll quickly find that fixing deeply complex issues like adult social care and special educational needs takes more than soundbites, slogans, or blame games. After 14 years of Conservative austerity that hollowed out local government, there are no easy efficiencies left to find — only hard choices. The public will be watching to see if they are up to the job. I thank the outgoing KCC leader Roger Gough for the positive, constructive approach on Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation.

I was pleased to support my Labour colleagues Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed today who were unacceptably detained and refused entry to Israel. It is disappointing that the Opposition was once again unable to put aside party politics on this issue.
