Interesting that the Guardian was also given the story on the same day as the Mirror and refused to run it. Their journalist got in touch, arranged a meeting then didn’t turn up. The journalist apologised, arranged another meeting then didn’t turn up again then stopped responding to emails 🤷‍♂️

Every time she comes up, I remind the world that Pamela Paul ordered a “too political” paragraph cut from a review I wrote of a trans positive middle grade book, then denied it in the press, said I was like Trump, then when confronted with proof she was wrong said “Let’s keep this to ourselves.”
