NION Women Rejects Anti-Trans Narrative at Kenwood Ladies Pond Image of women swimming in the wild

🏊‍♀️The women who swim at Kenwood Ladies Pond have already made their decision.

In 2024, almost 900 members voted to keep their trans-inclusive policy - a policy that has worked peacefully since 2019.

Now, a small campaign group is seeking to overturn that democratic decision through the courts.

I heard Zohran Mamdani twice described as a radical socialist on yesterday's BBC Radio 4's Today programme. Up to that point I'd really only heard Trump, and his propagandists refer to him that way. Was Radio 4 justified in calling him radical?

I think Holly Willoughby would be a bad choice for the main program. Zoe Ball and La Voix would be great. Claudia is unique and adorable so HW would be a poor replacement for her and ZB would be a better Tess #Strictly

I'd like to see them give it a go; I don't think they'd have the wherewithal nor the resilience. They'd get sent back though knowing our luck.

I like having the continuity of having a monarchy and the HoL. I don't really think having more elected officials will make things better, the quality of MPs is going down not up. Absolutely not what we need but clearly a lever that Reform could use to get power. Just looking at the misery developing in America why would we want to replicate it. Working class people would see more control and more money flow to rich and our healthcare system would be destroyed.

If you are following along with my Subaru UK saga. The courier shipping the part has apparently lost it on route to Subaru UK before they send it to the dealer. Apparently, replacing the replacement part will take a week. No car for four weeks at that point.
