States are not monoliths. There is a diversity of voters in every state and most red states have a lot of voter suppression.

If there are certain people whose lives are disposable to you because of where they live, you're not the opposition, you're just an alternate flavor.

And "let them" is not a humane strategy of fighting back. It's not fighting back at all.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of social interaction if curiosity is yelling to you. "Who cares?" Is not a critique. Some people care, some people don't. You could say the same about any criticism anyone could ever make.

What do you actually take issue with about the critique? Why is it inherently bad that many reviews have the same tone? What makes the tone invalid to you?

I have a smidgen of sympathy for people whose self-worth and stability depend on people not criticizing their favorite musician, but it seems like a mostly self-inflicted wound.
