Ok. Tried them tonight. Had the “kids” around for dinner. A) potatoes were too big so hard to do spirals thin enough b) used garlic salt not fresh garlic. Still nice but need another attempt as not crispy enough. Tempted to buy a potato spiral tool from AliExpress.

I think I might make those tonight. Those who know me know how rarely I cook but I think these are somewhat within my capabilities 😂

My work is near a Pak n Save in one of the lowest socio economic parts of Christchurch. Weirdly I've found their craft been section to be one of the best. Garage Project often on special, likewise Bonehead both hard to find elsewhere. The owner must like the WLG craft scene.
