I’m a descendant of ‘Norfolk Strangers’. My ancestors arrived in Norwich in the 1590s, fleeing religious persecution and such refugees made a lasting contribution to Norwich and the country as a whole. The city has a great tradition of welcoming and valuing migrants. Long may it go on.

Just came across this job post on LinkedIn. What a fantastic job title! Imagine being asked ‘and what do you do?’ Presumably, the role involves more than saying “Who smelt it, dealt it”, so I won’t bother applying
