A kind pharmacist at one of those pharmacies that volunteered that they could order 2 doses specifically for us

A call and then an in person visit to the pediatrician to pick up old school written prescriptions for each child to get the vaccine 3/x

Two app made appointments at different chain pharmacies where we showed up and the pharmacy did not have child doses despite the app saying they did

One of those appointments the pharmacist said it didn't matter they didn't have it because we didn't have a prescription 2/x

I finally got Covid-19 shots in my 7 & 10 year old's arms locally.

Here's what it took:
1 month of web searches, calls, etc

Numerous calls to pharmacies, then health department, etc

In person, unsuccessful requests for the pediatrician and a local pharmacy to order the vaccine for all kids 1/x

I’m in Abilene. The data center is supposed to use a closed loop water system. I don’t think it’s been used before for data centers, but the technology has been used for other things. I’m skeptical that jt will work 100% as well as claimed, but it should be a lot less water than typically used.

No one in my city actually has the vaccine for kids under 12. No pediatricians or the health department. I should not have to travel 180 miles to a major metropolitan area (Ft Worth) to get a vaccine for my kids that is on the children’s vaccination schedule. 2/2

I am livid. I finally was able to make an appointment at Walmart to get my 10 & 7 year olds the COVID vaccine in my city of 135,000 people. First the pharmacist said they needed a prescription. This is flat out wrong. Then they said they do not actually have the children’s dose anyway. 1/2
