Given that antisemitism obviously exists and there are people who want Israel destroyed on that basis alone, it seems strange that the Israeli government sees no problem with also creating totally secular and reasonable reasons to hate Israel on a daily basis.

What a surprise. Who would have thought that heβs dealing with forces that canβt be swayed by nothing more than a few words and his own ego.
I canβt believe after a decade in politics that anyone could possibly take anything he says in face value. Itβs truly a marvel of human psychology.

Itβs important to say clearly that his criminal case and stuff like this happens *because* heβs a cop. His years in the NYPD taught him that he can get away with a certain baseline level of constant corruption and no one will do anything about it.

How extreme car dependency is driving Americans to unhappiness
A car is often essential in the US but while owning a vehicle is better than not for life satisfaction, a study has found, having to drive too much sends happiness plummeting
βThe United States, with its enormous highways, sprawling suburbs and neglected public transport systems, is one of the most car-dependent countries in the world. But this arrangement of obligatory driving is making many Americans actively unhappy, new research has found.β

I agreeβand I still voted for him. The media hears Repubs say things like βIβll abolish the IRSβ and wonβt bat an eye. Itβs just considered a statement of who they are and what they believe in. Dems canβt do that because theyβre always expected to be the adults in the room. Heβll be fine, really.

He also defended Trumpβs attacks on the idea of being biracial. The media gave him far too much respect. Someone shouldβve asked him if his own kids would be somehow dishonest if in one context they said their family is from Ohio and in another said they were Indian. Both would be true, like Kamala

It was always utterly bizarre. The anti-immigrant rural communities who voted for Trump because of his position on immigration get to keep all their immigrant workers, but the big cities who actually wanted the immigrants get the mass deportation. Insane.

If the admin knew about and supported this before the fact and didnβt notify congress, then they should be dragged before congress immediately. If Israel did this without notifying and getting the OK from the admin, congress should forbid any further aid of any kind immediately.

There definitely are plenty of raging antisemites in the region who care little about Palestinians and just hate that Jews control the holy land and want to destroy them, so it seems like a strange strategy to also on a daily basis create completely secular, totally reasonable reasons to hate Israel

Millions of people went to voting booths believing we were in the midst of a massive crime wave. It was totally, utterly false. But the narrative had so taken hold that it became a gaff to say it was false. And the reason it took hold was because Biden was incapable of fighting daily messaging wars.
