Latino US citizens racially profiled by federal immigration agents in Chicago: ‘I felt like a piece of trash’
The Tribune spoke to U.S. citizens and green card holders who have either been questioned or detained during Trump’s Operation Midway Blitz.
For two months, the U.S. government has been racial profiling as masked federal agents hunted for immigrants throughout Chicago. They’ve repeatedly snatched up U.S. citizens while traumatizing communities. “I felt like a piece of trash.” Here is our story www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/15/l...

NEW LAWSUIT: We are suing Trump's EEOC for its decision not to investigate complaints of disparate-impact discrimination.
The EEOC is required by law to investigate charges of workplace discrimination. It cannot ignore the law because the president says so.

Paraphrasing here...
Kagan: Assume this is completely illegal EO. How do the courts actually stop it?
Govt: Certify a class action.
Kagan: You'll argue there's no class to certify under FRCP.
Govt: Yeah true.
Kagan: So how else?
Govt: Have every individual affected sue.
Barrett: Seriously?

Entire Staff Is Fired at LIHEAP
The move threatens to paralyze the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which helps to offset high utility bills for roughly 6.2 million people nationwide.
The Trump administration abruptly laid off the entire staff running a $4.1 billion program to help low-income households across the U.S. pay their heating and cooling bills.

Trump Scrambles to Pardon Corporate Criminals He Once Prosecuted
First the gutted CFPB pronounced ‘Whites Only’ marketing legal again. Now Boeing wants to renege on the sweetheart deal of the century.
Russ Vought's CFPB reversed a settlement and *sent back $100,000* to a mortgage company which discriminated to discourage Black customers.
Boeing is asking to rescind a guilty plea it already made.
Welcome to the age of the corporate pardon.

American civil society is full of abject cowards, that is the issue. The government is a mafia state but it is winning because most American elite institutions are devoid of anything resembling integrity and are folding rather than stand on principles that were little more than marketing.

in 2010 if you said "this Citizens United decision will end up with one single person buying the House of Representives like a pound of cheese, so as to impeach judges who rule against his coup attempt" you'd have been dismissed as a hysteric
