A bright start to the day temp between 10-15c, though the wind gives it feel temperate of 4°, brrr.
I've been a bit rough for most of the week, but improving slowly.

I got no further than ecourage...

We had great fun trying out kit all over the NW, took ages to get the speakers we wanted. Took our old integrated Sugden amp in for repair, which despite being over 10 yrs old, Sugden did it for free, however the sneaky sod at the shop lent us some bigger better Sugden amps, which we ended up buying

Nice turntables! I currently have a 1957 Garrard 301 that belonged to my grandfather, and it is actually rather good. Gone are the days of £1500 cartridges, and my house is tiny, I don't need anything better, though if I won the lottery...

I don't think these will be plugged into a Temu amplifier!
Hifi has always been a law of diminishing returns, the products get more expensive and the differences noticed become harder to hear.

You could buy a new top of the range Selmer Tenor Sax for the same price as 1.5mtr of speaker cable, longer cables are considerably more, 3.5m is £42k.

Might as well go full on and buy the 'superfuse's', just £30 a go.

More money than sense, high end audio has always been crazy, I've not browsed this sort of stuff for years. I guess someone must buy these things.

Many years ago, before kids, we were really into hifi.
Linn deck, Naim arm, Lyra cartridge, Sugden amps, and ProAc response speakers, a fair expense,
But, just seen these and wtf? Lifting cables off the floor gives a better sound?
Surely this is snake oil stuff?
