💷 On 16 Oct, Surrey officers submitted a bid for £600k CIL funding (developers pay per m² of new homes → local improvements).

Runnymede has 3 Conservative Cabinet members helping run the County Council.

Two now claim they “didn’t know” this was happening.

Either they weren’t told — or they weren’t paying attention.

Runnymede has three Conservative cabinet members on Surrey County Council.
Yet TWO claim they didn’t know this was happening.

So either:
1️⃣ They’ve lost control
or
2️⃣ They didn’t read their briefings

• More red tape
• Unfair on busy families
