The picture shows a toy sword, a toy hammer, and a toy weaver's comb. All three are made of wood.

Some archaeologists consider their role to be to explain humanity to itself. Some to be stewards of the past, some to attach communities to place and the post through stories.
Why would you allow rich white men to dominate those roles?
The lack of diversity undermines the purpose of the discipline

The image shows sunlight streaming into the ancient passage tomb at Newgrange, Ireland, casting a warm glow on the stone walls and floor. Overlay text in both Irish and English promotes the Winter Solstice live stream at 8:40 UTC on December 21, hosted by the OPW and the Department of Housing.

I really enjoyed reading! Can definitely relate to the sadness / madness that creeps in when my hands aren’t busy with something. Took me til a few years ago to realise that when I start regularly crying for no reason it’s probably because I need to make! Thanks for sharing πŸ™‚
