Wrote a quick thing about @taloketo.bsky.social and @king-spooner.bsky.social's Kickstarter hopeful Abide, which I can't stop thinking about.
This one really deserves to hit its modest £25k target on KS (and it's nearly 70% of the way there) - give it a chance!
got impatient with programming and started lighting my scene/staging screenshots. i was very worried everything would get crunched by the low resolution, but selective texture filtering is paying off :)

Really enjoyed playing through the demo for Vholume, new game by one of the Straftat/Babbdi devs and featuring music by 1000 Eyes (Signalis composer).

One of the biggest influences for me with ABIDE are Italian thrillers with their roots in the pulpy, perverse deadliness of the Giallo novels. I think the brazen confidence of a lot of the media in the 1940s has much to say about current predicaments - see Chandler's Philip Marlowe stories.
